KINO: Pete's New Side Project

6th November 2004
"Hi to you lovely people.
Pete here with some exciting news about my new project KINO. Having just finished writing and recording our first album, we have decided to preview the band live before the album release early next year.

We have two dates in December: The Tivoli in Utrecht on the 2nd, and The Underground in Cologne on the 8th - which is also being filmed live for WDR TV.

Kino is John Mitchell (Arena), John Beck (It Bites), Chris Maitland (ex-Porcupine Tree) and myself. Unfortunately Chris can't make the shows, so Bob Dalton (also of It Bites fame) is stepping in to provide the backbone for these musical extravaganzas... Kino is a song-based rock band with - dare I say it - progressive overtones. It is a modern sound with a touch of Transatlantic and, of course, Marillion!

Hope to see you at one of the shows!
Pete"

You can order tickets for the show on December 2nd at the Tivoli in Utrecht through the Dutch Marillion Fanclub "The Web Holland".
